Welcome to Re-Reads and Reviews!
If you’ve been here before, check out what you’ve missed since you’ve been gone – Latest Posts. If you know exactly what you’re looking for, you navigate the site through the categories drop-down on the side or the handy search bar.
If this is your first time here, welcome! Here’s a quick list to help you find your way around:
- Television: I’m currently on hiatus on the TV front – don’t want to take more simultaneous projects than I can chew at the moment. I cover Game of Thrones (naturally), Hannibal (while it lasted), Westworld and House of Cards (which I may not pick back up). Soon to come – The Wire.
- Music: I’m mostly into hip-hop though I always appreciate recommendations. There’s a full list of albums reviewed here.
- Movies: I don’t get nearly as much time as I should for movies, but my taste tends to veer towards lighter-hearted.
- Books: This is the one category where pretty much anything goes. I’ve covered books from sci-fi fantasy, to the classic literature to non-fictional stuff. Recommendations are always welcome. Up next – Infinite Jest, if I ever finish it.
- Re-Reads: Currently in the middle of re-reading George RR Martin’s A Song of Ice And Fire. Given the current pace, that’s all I’ll be doing for the foreseeable future on that front. This long, long project began with this post. It’s currently on hiatus due to lack of hype on the part of several parties. I’ll pick this back up if the next book is ever announced
- Anime: Currently just finished working my way through Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Other series covered in the past include Fate/Zero, Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Kara No Kyoukai, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Death Parade.
- If you’re still confused or have questions, take a second to check out the FAQ page.
Do you have an idea for the site? Whether it’s comments on the content posted, or on what movie, album, anime, show I should review next, check out the Feedback Page. I promise I read everything. No, seriously, everything.

Well, every comment is sent to my email, so that’s as good a way as any of reaching me. I generally don’t give my email out though, since it’s a personal one, sorry.

Hmm is anyone else encountering problems with the images on this blog loading?
I’m trying to determine if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog.
Any feed-back would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the pictures here are hosted on Imgur. I don’t know if that helps or not.

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about
this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that
you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a bit, but instead of that, this is magnificent blog.
An excellent read. I’ll definitely be back.

I really like your style, your analysis and your attention to details. You seem very open-minded about different media and genres (anime, visual novels, books, movies, tv series, ecc…). Would you like any recommendation for what to see next? I definitively have a bunch of things I’d love you to review.

Definitely, but one at a time please. I have Psycho Pass in mind for my anime but I could use TV shows, books and music recommendedations

Psycho Pass is one of my all-time favorites, so I’m glad you have it on your schedule!
I’m not very keen on TV shows, the only one I finished and appreciated is “Breaking Bad”. I would recommend it, if you didn’t watch it already.
As far as books are concerned, “1984” by George Orwell is the one I recommend to everyone. I think it’s simply amazing.
Regarding music, I don’t know if it could appeal your tastes, but I’ll drop a title anyway: “Transmissions”, Starset’s first album ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tW_FkaXeSwc&list=PL6BsulcnTjtv3k03say7Z1RjihleUU5nE ).
I don’t know if you are into gaming, but since you have played F/SN I’d recommend you to check out “To the Moon”. It’s an indie game, more similar to a visual novel than an actual game. 4 hours long, the gameplay is minimal, but the soundtrack and the narrative are top-tier.
